Saturday, February 4, 2017 - Vosne lunch at Garibaldi. Deep gold, quite aged in appearance. Rather muted on the nose initially, but with time, and as this warmed in the glass, it was definitive Puligny. Minerals, stone, dried grass and leaf. This was a rather lean wine, and lacked fruit both on the nose and the palate. It was also rather one dimensional and for my palate, this was past its drinking window. Would have been better 5-8 years ago.
