This should have at least 8-10 years to reach it's real peak for an aged rioja, and probaly another decade or so of drinkability. Try to find another bottle, because I feel like the 04 is actually less ready than the 05 is.

    1/5/2018 6:48:00 AM - I agree with J3r0me H@n, the 2004 is tighter than the more accessibly 2005, and it should continue to evolve for at least another twenty years. My guess would be that it will still drink beautifully when it turns thirty, with no signs of decline...
