6/27/2018 6:11:00 PM - Hello. How long did you air or decant? I didn’t like this from the bottle, but after 7 hours of air it was lovely! I suspect shut down. Try again post 2020,or even 2022
6/27/2018 8:04:00 PM - Hi there! Had only a short decant so definitely agree with you that it's shut down. The Pousse 60 Ouvrees is a good solid Volnay.
6/27/2018 9:30:00 PM - Hi. It was a test bottle. Was going to get more if it was good but guess not. Had the 02 Pousse volnay bousse last year and it was delicious so thought the 60 Ouvrees be equally good if not better
6/27/2018 10:42:00 PM - Unfortunately I find it quite overpriced for what it is. I personally feel you can get some better values from the likes of Boillot family etc, as for the same as an off vintage of PdO, you can get a 2005,09,10 etc from them
That said, the 2002 you gave 15 years, whilst this only had 8. I do believe this could be a cracking wine in another 7 years (2025+ period)
6/28/2018 4:09:00 AM - Wow! We should meet up! I'm Kelvin btw & my Hp is 0122036081. Got a wine group here about 10 of us & we meet regularly to eat & pop good bottles. We drink mostly older Bordeaux, burgs, barolos & cdp.
