Monday, March 26, 2018 - Freisa is a new one for me. Proudly showing its family ties to Nebbiolo this is is massively tannic with big acidity and earthy mushroom cherry aromas, it is a beast of a wine but after a long decant it shows its more delicate side and stunning with slow roast lamb. This probably has years ahead of it such is the structure but can also be lovely now.
