Deep red colour with a blue red rim and a mature nose showing chocolate, cherries, leather, tarragon and dried herbs. Palate with softened tannins, dried fruit and a nice balanced finish showing cherry stones and a hint of leather and licorice. This was matching the tenderloin fillet very well, but is showing more of tertiary notes than primary fruit now.
(Probably best 2014-2022)
