Thursday, December 13, 2018 - Nose: sweet red fruit, cherry, cedar, tobacco and oak. Palate: Nicely balaced but still showing a decent amount of dry tannin. Blackberry, cherry, cedar, spice and oak notes. Finish: tight initially, but was wide open by the end. Detailed finish of cherry, cedar, graphite and a touch of toasted oak.

Tight upon opening, and felt like it never really got going. Expected more fuit to unfurl. Elements of a classic Lynch profile, but oaky and dry notes at times worry me.
