Tuesday, May 14, 2019 - Super dark and highly extracted. Very rich with dark black fruit, a little Szechuan pepper, big ripe velvety tannins. Finish lasts a couple of minutes and shows a bit of greeness, reminiscent of a funky eucalyptus.
6/11/2019 8:25:00 AM - Greetings, I only have three bottles of this wine. With that in mind is it time to crack open one of the bottles and from the aspects I pick up at that time determine when I will open the others?
7/31/2019 10:09:00 AM - No rush, this has a long life ahead of it. I opened it out of curiosity. I think the funkiness of the wine will resolve with time in the bottle.
11/29/2019 4:32:00 PM - Sorry for the slow response, I just now noticed your second message. I think 3 years would be a reasonable time to open your first. The wines are so big and juicy, if you're into that, you won't be disappointed!
5/7/2020 12:03:00 AM - There was a year, a vintage, that was lost. It may have been 2017. There was a handling problem and Cayuse decided to not release any bottles under their label. They credited all investors for their purchases.
