Saturday, June 1, 2019 - I see that this is a special wine, a special Viognier and that the high praises are deserved. But this full-bodied, low-acid and very perfumed style of Viogniers in general are just not my favorite. So don't get my 93 points wrong, this is definitely a brilliant Viognier. Viognier lovers might rate this much higher. I guess that this might pair well with Asian food.

TN: Walking through a field of fresh flowers or into a room with fresh washed laundry. Additionally some terroir aromas with a nice minerality providing somewhat of a lift. Very soft, highly intense, not enough acidity for my tast but in no way cloying. Overall quite harmonious and long.

Decanting: To my surprise, this needed time to open up. One hour in the decanter seems to be right.
