Monday, July 22, 2019 - As good as it gets -- in CA. A wine that covers all the chardonnay bases. Medium bodied. Great nose of ripe fruit and minerals and none of the overly alcohol scent one sees in the overripe/overdone CA chards of current hype. Flavors of pineapple, lemon and cream without too much sweetness. Reminds of a top white Burgundy. Drinking well now, particularly after time in glass and after opening for an hour or so, but also age-worthy. One of the best of CA.
