Wednesday, July 24, 2019 - The wine out of the bottle is quite good but still quite tight. With a bit of a decant (I understand some people are against decanting Burgundy Pinot but I believe it worked out very well this time) more flavors were brought out with notes of earth, dark cherries, touch of oak, and a bit of mushroom like earthiness. Excellent wine where the fruit/acid profile is in great balance with nice amount of complexity thrown into it. However the wine still has room for improvement would try again in 5 - 10 years.
