Wednesday, August 28, 2019 - Coravin tasting. Followed a 2009 Piesporter Goldtropchen kabinett. Much more intense and maybe even complex on the nose. A little saffron, which I’ve gotten before in this and it’s on the palate also. Nice spice overall. Lovely clean finish, noticeably dry compared to the Piesporter. I much prefer this, more refreshing, tangy, lots of lemon and lime now. I don’t know if it will last as long as the Piesporter but much better for drinking now.
