Thursday, September 12, 2019 - Deep, rich colour and good dark fruit and spice on the complex, perfumed nose. Excellent mainly dark cherry and plum fruit on the palate. Good balance and length with spice and integrated soft plum skin tannins. Chocolate notes developed later as it opened. Good with food (Beef Wellington) and on its own.
Another bottle a few days later was good but there seemed to be less fruit and more dryness on the finish.
