Friday, January 3, 2020 - Baked apples, cooked lemon, biscuit, brioche, honey, hint of nuts. Fully developed. High acidity, medium alcohol and body, rich palate, fine mousse, medium+ finish. Very good quality NV champagne, drinking nicely now. I don't think it will benefit from further ageing, but clearly no hurry to drink up.
Personally I prefer the Charles Heidsieck NV style, which I find fresher, but this is very good too.
