Saturday, January 4, 2020 - "Alcohol-free wine". Almost colourless and odourless - perhaps the faintest hint of apple and lemon if I inhale deeply. Pleasant enough taste, mostly green grape fruit with some residual sweetness and a nice balance. Inoffensive to the point of barely being there. According to a retailer, the grapes are picked at a low potential alcohol level, fermented as normal, then the alcohol is removed by vacuum distillation <30ºC. [Screwcap; 0.05% abv, Waitrose, £3.29].
