Tuesday, February 4, 2020 - Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening Tasting Event in NYC. This wine came fro grapes in the Montvigliero vineyard that had a long hang time but were made in a traditional style. The structure is visible especially in the big but ripe tannins. Acidity isn't as bright as in the 2016's and is probably consistent with the longer hang time. This has a rich and fairly round texture and mouth feel. and a pleasant fruity and floral nose. Palate is fairly rich. Nice wine with some age-ability for a 2015.
