This is a truly impressive young champagne, youthful light yellow color, fine bubbles, bright acidity, fantastic balance, layers and layers of white fruit, hints of green apple, a light chalkiness, both weightless and intense at the same time. I am relatively new to champagne but this is the fourth time I have had this over the last decade and each bottle has set a very high bar indeed. Just delicious.

Although I have only had the 2008 Cristal once, in MHO it is younger and will be just as memorable in a decade.
