Thankfully, there are these really awesome cabs like this for the rest of us. Clone 4 cab grapes, this one has a slightly different rounded character compared to the Dyers and Diamond Creek wines that tend to be a little more raucous. Blackberry and some espresso on the opening. Lots of limestone in the middle as this one dries out to an herbal character to the finish. I still believe this is going to show another dimension in a couple of years which is consistent with my previous rating from 2016. Good now but will be better. Too bad this is my...umm..last one.
