Wednesday, July 1, 2020 - A broad textured Barbaresco with some lovely fine grained tannin, white mushroom, and tart cranberry/wild strawberry fruit. Good substance that needed air to emerge (better on day 2). Lacks a touch of the purity and depth of a '14 or '16, but super enjoyable. I also agree with prior notes describing blood orange, and a certain glossiness to this vintage.
