Wednesday, July 1, 2020 - PnP. Big fruit right away, but after half an hour it was displaying several notes, including cassis and leather. Wow, this is fabulous. I'm going to get more today!

7/2/2020 5:49:00 PM - I saw this on sale @ BCLS a while back but skipped it because, you know - Chilean wine must be cheap...maybe I made a mistake?
Elqui valley produces quality wine...will note this for next time.

7/2/2020 9:18:00 PM - Well Killer, it was not very detailed, but I had to write something because it was really fantastic. I only write notes for a fraction of the wine I open (I'm lazy). My coworker who I've been helping with a big renovation gave me a box of assorted bottles to enjoy. I probably would never have bought this. Neighbours came over on Canada Day and I opened a Quail's Gate Old Vines Foch, which I love. We needed more, so I grabbed this thinking, "meh, Chilean Syrah that's probably okay". It really blew me away after half an hour. I think it's $40.
