Tuesday, July 7, 2020 - Discreet nose that benefited from air, and improved on day two. Very distinctive aromas of stone fruit, apple cider, chalk, white flowers, and citrus. The cider notes were just too strong for my taste most of the time, but a lot of interesting character in the wine. Texture was nice and full relative to Riesling, a phenolic character that gave it heft and complexity. Can stand to age for a few more years at least.
