Friday, July 31, 2020 - Solid wine. Let there be no doubt, and let me be declarative, this wine is not worth anywhere close to its currently mental, bubble-ridden price tag. It's a very good wine, but the combination of cult appeal, stupid 0.01%-ers hiring "cellar consultants" and the word of mouth have now put a $50-80 Riesling into the stratosphere. Even my wife, a non-ITB person, who has a terrific palate, is laughing at the $200 price tag here and those that dabble. firm pass. For those that aren't, well, the definition of a fool, is one who is quickly parted with their $.

Even 2018 is around $100 on allocation
