Thursday, September 17, 2020 - Giovanni Manetti on Fontodi (Zoom!): Opaque purple. So much concentration, and a creamy feel, but so light on its feet. Lavender and herbs. Sweet and bitter. I wanted not to be impressed by this, given I can't afford it (having been a buyer of prior vintages), but I failed.

9/18/2020 12:35:00 AM - I paid £90 for the six tasting samples in the tasting story - but I think Flacc 2016 sold out almost instantly on release here and it's about £135/bottle now - almost double the price of the 2015.
