Wednesday, October 21, 2020 - Perhaps this is an off bottle but this is very disappointing with stewed fruit, gritty tannins, and poorly integrated acidity. Generally speaking, other than Merlot, I have felt that most international varietals don’t perform all that well on Italian soil. Of course there are exceptions.

I have one more bottle but I’m going to hold that with the possibility that this wine is still too young.
