Tuesday, January 19, 2021 - Was inspired by some of the tasting notes here to give this a try and was not disappointed. High toned notes of plum and cherries stood out after a 4 hour decant on Day 1 and mellowed out a bit more on Day 2 when paired with a Flannery dry aged KC Strip. Smooth drying tannins showed on both days. For my palate, I preferred day 2. Looking forward to checking back in after a couple more years, but don't hesitate to try now with a long decant.
