Saturday, September 17, 2022 - Corison makes some of the more elegant and restrained Napa Cabs. This one has aromas of violet, currant, blueberry, cedar, mint, liquorice, mild cocoa and a dusty whiff. Quite tight and acid-dominated at first, with light, dry powdery tannins. Opens nicely with some hours out in the free air: more integrated and balanced. Delicate and nuanced, fresh acidity, floral and elegant. Long. Not many manages to pull of such elegance in Napa, which is why Corison is one of my definite favourites.
