Monday, October 3, 2022 - 16 months in French oak barriques, 30% new.

Almost black colour. 1h decant in the glass, which was too short. Hence, oak and tannins were dominant.
Much better on day 2. Silky and complex palate with blackberries, tannins, oak, and cigar box. Somewhat fresh as well (5.3 g/L TA vs 0.6 g/L RS). Long finish.
Parker rated 93p and this Douro wine might get there if you wait for a while.
