92 Points

Thursday, April 9, 2009 - Nostrils: very rich and delicious with supple red fruits, some ripe plum and floral undertones
Tongue: extremely lush on the palate; delicious red fruit; black tea; sassafras root. When paired with rare Sirloin Marsala this wine truly began to sing. Beautiful flavors of blueberry and vanilla seemed to come out of nowhere and overwhelm the palate.

Overall: this was a fantastic wine that will probably mellow and get better with age. 92+
