Tuesday, October 11, 2022 - Zero idea how I ended with this, best guess someone brought it to a party. Full bodied, New World Chardonnay, but it stops well short of going into butter-ball territory. Pretty simple lemon-apple-light pineapple fruit profile, with a nice seam of rocky minerals, general creaminess and oak notes that fill out the finish.
In the grand scheme of larger scaled $25, New World Chardonnay, you can certainly do a lot worse. Big, but not overblown. This is a , "successful within the style", sort of wine. Not really my thing, but a good price if you like a bigger style. Caveat Emptor to Chablis and Dry Riesling fans.
