Saturday, April 11, 2009 - Light golden color. Nose of apples, nuts, a little anise, and a little funkiness. Palate of sweet apple some pear, hazlenut and lots of oak, some butter. Lower minerality and acidity than I like in a white Burg. Interesting but not great.
