Saturday, November 12, 2022 - In Magnum. Slow Ox for 3 hours. It did not change for the next 5 thereafter. Smooth and pliable tannins but still evidence of a backbone. Blackberry and Black Cherry fruits. Faintest touches of spice, dried herbs and Oak. This wine is supposed to evidence one of the best expressions of Barbera and I concur. This Mag would be through 2030 and perhaps well beyond that date.
