Monday, January 9, 2006 - Deep, almost opaque crimson in color. The nose is fleshy, very ripe, a little oaky but very pleasant. The palate shows good minerality and grenache flare. (An hour later...) OMFG, who put a slice of heaven in my glass? Much deeper and filled out. A little "porty" but that is good in my book. More tannins are evident. More everything is evident. This is fantastic wine. This is clearly a sleeping beauty.
