Thursday, November 17, 2022 - It's been a over two years since my last 12 and I can easily say this is one of the best vintages of this wine. Well, next to 09 which I still love just as much today.
One of the more interesting notes on the nose was the A&W Root Beer float. Hints of vanilla and cola. Sweet red strawberry and chocolate. Silky tannins and a long finish.
A glass left in the bottle for today. I'll make sure to post updates if anything new develops.
Drink or hold. 95
Update***
24 hrs slow Ox in the bottle
Sweet fruit turned dark cherry. A bit of Burgundian lift with just the right amount of weight. What a gorgeous wine. Acid to lay down for another decade.

11/18/2022 2:43:00 PM - Thank you....I am going to the VHR tasting in Phoenix in Dec. I am sure I will be getting together with Lite (Ryan) and some of his friends....maybe I will take this wine down there....I don't think too many of them have tasted this....sounds like it would totally be in everyone's wheelhouse! Will let you know! Thanks again.
