Saturday, November 19, 2022 - 96% Zinfandel and 4% Petite Sirah coming from GT Vineyard (56%), Montecillo Vineyard (34%) and Madrone Springs (10%). This is excellent and highly structured Zinfandel Zinfandel that is full of red fruit, pepper, and a long acid-driven finish. Medium + bodied with tannins present, but not overwhelming after a little air. Almost claret style and absolutely delicious now, but with a ton of upside. Hold or decant if drinking now. I absolutely love Beekeeper zin but wish it was priced a bit lower so that i could justify drinking it more often ($85 retail).
