Saturday, November 19, 2022 - Acker JK 51st birthday in NYC. A little oaky nose, the fruit being quite yellow, quite intense. There is excellent sap, almost oily, the fruit profile is all yellow fruits, not very typical Chevalier. Plenty of muscle behind, no chiselled finish but very good concentration. Not racy enough for its pedigree nevertheless very enjoyable for its hedonistic qualities.
