Sunday, November 20, 2022 - Decanted 2 hours and half. Expressive nose of dark cherries and blackcurrants with spicy notes and some pencil shavings. The palate is beautiful and elegant - great balance with tannins that are integrating nicely already, good acidity, lots of refined and precise cherries and plums and then spice, cigar box, some licorice and leafy notes, with a medium ending that has a touch of vanilla to balance it all. Very good and approachable, this went great with Prime NY Strip. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carmenère.
