Layers of well concentrated blue/black fruits blend with dusty, earthy and herby tones. A sturdy acid and tannic structure hold the strength of the fruit together.
Wish I had a grilled piece of red meat to go with this.

One of two wines served to accompany Boxing Day Tourtiere pies. This took a back seat to the 2005 Ch Bouscaut that was a much more seamless and integrated wine. The Q was very primary in sweet dark red fruit and a little out of balance in acidity & tannin. This had been decanted for >1hr but was not as impressive in previous showings.
