Sunday, January 1, 2023 - Bought as a pre-arrival and properly stored, this 3L bottle was the hit of a 12 person NYE dinner party.
I am so grateful for the CT community who advised to allow for a 2 hour decant. I pulled the cork and poured half of the wine into my biggest decanter at 6:30pm, and, boy, was I worried. The nose was absolutely terrible. However, when I tasted it at 9pm, everything was fabulous. Paired with a rib roast and creamed spinach, the wine was singing and so were the guests!
