Sunday, January 1, 2023 - First time trying Vaccarese as a single varietal. Overall a bit light and thin perhaps showing the youthfulness of the vines. Ruby in the glass, moderately aromatic nose of red fruits and spice, palate is dry fruits take a backseat to spice, tobacco, herbs and earth notes, fruits tend tart with pomegranate, currant and cherry, acidity is high, tannins and body are medium, finish falls off a bit quickly and is thin. Great to try but would not buy again.
