Monday, May 1, 2023 - To use a term that my kids’ generation frequents, this is FIRE!
Bright red fruits explode from the glass - underripe strawberry, cranberries and wild cherry (I know that’s dark red but it’s the only cherry I like). Pretty but not austere or boring. Deft acidity that seems to interject itself in all the right places, at all the right times. No better example than in the finish where, without it, you might be saying “Meh”. Instead, I’m yelling WOW!
I’m a huge fan!
(Thank you Tegan. Not only for this project but as much so, for changing the style of Turley’s Zins - Balance, even while maintaining full, rich fruit and the Zin-typical, high ABV’s.)
