Thursday, May 4, 2023 - The 2015 Rousseau Lavaux St Jacques is fleshy and robust. Ripe mixed fruits, low pitched berries and earthy minerality. Surprisingly more rustic than other young Rousseau I have tasted, bold rather than elegant side of the spectrum for Rousseau. Ripe cherries on the mid-palate with fine grained tannins on the finish. (90/100)
