Saturday, May 6, 2023 - Up from the ground come a bubbling crude, black gold, Texas tea…deep purple color, impenetrable, magenta rim. A little heat on the nose. Also a earthy aroma. Tears rolling down the glass. Deep purple plum flavor, ripe mulberries and it continues to unfold with air. Fine tannin on the back end. Not heavy on the palate at all. Full flavored without being overbearing. This is a wine to curl up in a leather chair and a great book and let both plots unwind.
