Up from the ground come a bubbling crude, black gold, Texas tea…deep purple color, impenetrable, magenta rim. A little heat on the nose. Also a earthy aroma. Tears rolling down the glass. Deep purple plum flavor, ripe mulberries and it continues to unfold with air. Fine tannin on the back end. Not heavy on the palate at all. Full flavored without being overbearing. This is a wine to curl up in a leather chair and a great book and let both plots unwind.

I love these wines when you're in the mood for something.....bigger. Deep, dark, and delicious. Not for the faint of heart but also very well balanced. The beauty of Mending Wall PS is that it's great young, but you know it will also age effortlessly. Pop in now, tomorrow, or in 15 years - you can't lose!

Dark, dark, dark. Not a single ray of light shines through this wine. Stains the glass. Perfumed nose. Spicy on the palate. Blue and dark fruit. Tannic and would benefit from some time. Finish lingers. Good stuff.

14.7% abv. Dark as night, very aromatic. High octane, wildly intense, powerful and sexy. Ripe plum, black pepper, white flowers, a classic and exceptional Petite. Goes on and on ... should improve and then hold for years. Crazy stuff.

Simply an astounding, in your face, bold petite sirah. Chewy and mouth puckering tannins, firm acidity, blueberries, cacao, mocha, potent dusty dark chocolate finish. The color is a blackish/reddish/purple and rich!! Amazing wine! Cheers ! 🍷🍷

Wow, what a wine. Knew I was in for something special when I opened it and poured it into the glass. Man was it dark. Like vampire blood, deep purple. Not some Pinot thin pale wine here. Then the taste. Amazing. Big, grand, in your face. Cab like, or should I say Petite Sirah like? Great wine, only wish I had more.

Concentrated & inky. Improved while drinking over 3-days. Dark fruits - blackberry / blueberry / plum - orange peel, eucalyptus, toasted oak, cacao... As with most TRB wines, this is very well made. Balanced in the mouth, with right amount of tannins for my taste. This is a wine to pair with spicy meals - looking forward to the next bottle.

Excellent Petit Sirah. Dark purple with pepper and smells of leather. Peppery lunch with nice tannins that grip on for a long finish. 3 hours decanted.

July 2018 Rivers-Marie Visit (At Mending Wall winery): Poured next to the 2014. I like that wine better, mainly because I got turned off with some heat on the nose, which I don't find on the 2014. On the upside, I believe the 2015 is more concentrated than the 2014, with more stuffing.

One of the best petites on the market. Inky black with brown sugar on the nose, dark fruits and a streak of candied orange/citrus on the midpalate- that beautiful TRB handiwork. Tannins are soft, so it doesn’t come off as massive or monolithic

14.7% abv. Dark purple, moderately expressive aromas. Plums, pepper, black raspberry, leather and hints of mint and white flowers. Silky palate impression with a tannic edge. Extraordinary depth, richness and length. Years of life ahead.

Similar to prior vintages, this is a neat wine. Almost impossibly dark in color and fruit. Silky texture and a big, long, echoing finish. Lots of tannin here - patience will be rewarded. But I had to try one.
If popping soon, would recommend several hours of air/decant.
