Saturday, April 29, 2023 - Black cherry, red cherry and red raspberry on a nose that showed great aromatics overall as well as depth of flavor. Between medium and full bodied (14% ABV) and nicely open and rounded upfront with a pretty mix of softer red cherry and brighter red cherry - the sangiovese really shining through. Mid-body has exceptional depth, adding black cherry as well as a touch of plum towards the back. Excellent integration on the backside with tannins and other structural elements blending almost seamlessly with the fruit, lifting it and allowing it to expand through the finish. What really stood out was the clarity and depth of the fruit and the beautiful overall expression. This wine was decanted and drunk over the course of three hours and felt more and more complete over that time. Clearly accessible now but has the potential to be even better in years to come. (Restaurant Limoni; Munich, Germany)
