Sunday, May 14, 2023 - Another one I wish I had noted sooner. Opened for Mother’s Day after we finished the Cedric Bouchard and that was an unfair setup for this bottle. Vigorous mousse that remained even on day 2 (good!). Not sure the dosage but it was clearly present. Nice citrus aromas and flavors, plenty of acidity and nice texture. Obviously much more in your face and rustic Champagne than Bouchard so I suspect I will be giving this higher scores when I taste it on its own.
