Monday, May 29, 2023 - From magnum. Rich and ripe red fruits. Sweet old Rioja flavors, with tobacco, earth and wood. Still has tannins but they are smooth. Hard to believe this is from 1975 as it is not showing signs of age. Not the most complex old Rioja ever (perhaps the warmer vintage?) but lovely and succulent right now. This came direct from the bodega and looks like it was recorked there recently.
