Saturday, June 10, 2023 - A massive, heavily extracted wine. Not quite my “cup of tea”, so to speak.

Deep ruby/purple color. Minimal fading around the edge, even after 9 years. Medium aroma intensity. Dark aromas … blackberry, smoke, licorice. Little to no red fruit.

Medium to big, chewy tannins. Full bodied. High alcohol. Flavors of black fruit, licorice, stewed plums. Long finish.
