Saturday, June 17, 2023 - Opened because I discovered this one had a slightly leaky cork. Had about half an inch of ullage, but the wine seems sound. Nose has a lot of lime and citrus, but on the palate that lime citrus turns to peach and apricot stone fruit on the finish. Really good minerality and crushed stone notes. Medium sweetness is balanced by medium+ acidity. I like where this is right now. It's starting to develop some secondary flavors and despite being from a vintage where a lot of wines lacked acidity, I think this still has enough acidity to balance the sweetness and to give it enough structure to continue aging gracefully. Holding the other bottles I have for several more years.
