Aromas of burned rubber are covering up the cherry and meat notes underneath. Not pleasant. On the palate the wine seems OK with a medium-full body with refined tannins and fresh acidity.
Initially the bottle seemed flawed. A day later I had the Montosoli, it showed the same burned rubber component, though less intimidating. It might blow of after a while (this bottle was open for +/- 6 hours).
Disappointing :-((
