Friday, July 21, 2023 - Medium-deep reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & raspberries with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, herbs, spices, anise, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, mulberries & plums with spices, some herbs & minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but has the structure to continue development with further aging at which time it may merit a higher score.
