Wednesday, July 26, 2023 - Probably my favorite new world Chard (probably the only NW chard that I go out of my way to buy every vintage). Not to be compared with the minerality or energy of a quality Burg, but also not flabby like so many Cali chards. Full body and fruit forward with enough acidity to be in balance from first glass to last. Enough weight to stand up to grilled salmon in a miso-sesame marinade tonight, which is usually pinot territory for me. Will buy the next vintage with or without reviews.
